Our History

Universal Sheetmetal Pty Ltd was established on the Gold Coast in 1998 by founder and current managing director, Wade Carter. At the age of 15, Wade began his career within the industry as a young tradesperson and under the guidance of his father completed his full accreditation for metal work. After years of field experience and essential training, Wade established the Universal Sheetmetal brand utilising his knowledge and expertise within the trade. 

After 17 years of business, Universal Sheetmetal prides itself on the reputation it has amongst the industry, servicing numerous commercial clients and projects across the nation. With improved manufacturing standards, current and well-maintained machinery and a qualified workforce, the product and service on offer is of the highest quality, unmatched by competitors. Working with clients, such as; Harvey Norman, Griffith University, Griffith University Hospital, The Gold Coast Airport, Alamanda Hospital and Pindara Hospital, Universal Sheetmetal values its business relationships and ensure’s the utmost care and professionalism when supporting the needs of customers.
